Admission Requirements

Students wishing to participate in the dual-MS degree program must apply separately to GT and SJTU and meet the admission requirements of both universities.

Non-Chinese citizen students are not required to study for both the GT and SJTU MS degrees (Dual-MS degrees). Non-Chinese citizen students only need to meet the GT admission requirements and study for the GT MS degree.

Official GRE score report sent from the ETS is required for all applicants:
- The GRE institution code for Georgia Tech is 5248
- The GRE department codes for ECE are 1201-1204 (any of these codes are valid)

Official TOEFL score report sent from the ETS is required for Chinese students and all other applicants whose native language is not English:
- The TOEFL institution code for Georgia Tech is 5248
- The TOEFL department code for ECE is 66
The minimum TOEFL score for graduate admission by Georgia Tech is 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, or 79 internet-based.
