Admission Requirements
Students wishing to participate in the dual-MS degree program must apply separately to GT and SJTU and meet the admission requirements of both universities.
Non-Chinese citizen students can apply to the GT MS degree program if they meet the GT admission requirements
GT admission decisions are based, in large measure, on information derived from three sources:
- Performance in all prior degree programs (earned GPA, field(s), institution(s))
- GRE scores, especially the quantitative and analytical/analytical writing portions
- Credible letters of reference
Official GRE score report sent from the ETS is required for all applicants:
- The GRE institution code for Georgia Tech is 5248
- The GRE department codes for ISYE is 1301
Official TOEFL score report sent from the ETS is required for Chinese
students and all other applicants whose native language is not English:
- The TOEFL institution code for Georgia Tech is 5248
- The TOEFL department code for ISYE is 67
The minimum TOEFL score for graduate admission by Georgia Tech is 550
paper-based, 213 computer-based, or 79 internet-based.
