Admission Requirements

Students wishing to participate in the dual-MS degree program must apply separately to GT and SJTU and meet the admission requirements of both universities.

Non-Chinese citizen students can apply to the GT MS degree program if they meet the GT admission requirements  

GT admission decisions are based, in large measure, on information derived from three sources:

• Performance in all prior degree programs (earned GPA, field(s), institution(s))
• GRE scores, especially the quantitative and analytical/analytical writing portions
• Credible letters of reference

TOEFL is required for all international students whose primary native language is not English. The minimum score for graduate admission required by Georgia Tech is 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, or 79 internet-based.
